“Home is where you meet yourself,” says Sunil Grover. A few years ago, the actor-comedian welcomed Asian Paints into his Mumbai home, offering fans a glimpse of a warm and artistic space filled with wooden furniture, artwork and textured walls.

Sunil Grover’s home combines rustic elements with modern design. According to a Times Entertainment report, the property is worth around Rs 2.5 crore.


The exterior features orange-brown wooden finishes, while the entrance gallery has a blue wall decorated with a hand-painted tree featuring yellow leaves. The artistic theme continues upstairs, where hand-painted flowers and leaves add character to the interiors.

A Dining Area That Makes a Statement

Interestingly, the dining area is the first space visitors encounter when they enter the home, rather than the living room.

A wooden dining table is paired with a bench and positioned beside a balcony with floor-to-ceiling glass doors. The arrangement allows plenty of natural light into the space during the day, while offering views of the Mumbai skyline at night.

The living room has a carefully planned layout rather than the expansive open-plan design often seen in celebrity homes. It sits next to another room, has a staircase leading upstairs and even features a dartboard.

One of the most eye-catching elements is the magenta-coloured sofa and matching ottoman. Grey sofas balance the bright shade, while a mustard-yellow accent chair adds another splash of colour.

Interestingly, the seating arrangement does not directly face the television. Instead, it is positioned to offer an unobstructed view of the balcony and the Mumbai skyline.

The kitchen, located next to the living room, features Moroccan-style tiles and overlooks the balcony.

Speaking about owning a home in Mumbai, Sunil Grover said that having a house in the city itself is not easy and described himself as blessed to have a beautiful home there.

The upstairs balcony holds special significance for the actor-comedian. From there, he can see several localities where he has lived during his time in Mumbai.

The home also features a dedicated reading nook, with shelves filled with books and scripts. It offers Grover a quieter corner away from the main living spaces.

Upstairs, there is a soundproof TV room with blue walls and grey seating, providing a more private space for entertainment and relaxation.
