"Many nights, I'd sit on the roadside pavement, battling mosquitoes and flickering bulbs, just to revise accounts and economics," Chandni told TOI.

Studying for nearly 8–9 hours daily, Chandni turned adversity into motivation, refusing to let her circumstances define her future.

"No fees, only opportunity is the motto of my school, that's what kept me going. My father's weary eyes every evening screamed: succeed, or we'll sink forever," she said.

Chandni’s achievement has drawn widespread praise. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav personally congratulated her, calling her an inspiration for underprivileged youth and acknowledging her success as a symbol of hope and determination.
