Stranger Things is everything about being a teenager, says Winona Ryder
Winona Ryder has been on the silver screen since the 80s and has received not only awards but also a star in the Hollywood walk of fame.

She is quite candid about her feelings when she talks about what teens endure and the pain and confusion they go through in their lives. "It's like a war for them" she reminisces. She had given many a hit as a teenager herself like Beetlejuice, Lucas and Heathers. Not many would have forgotten the shoplifting incident that Winona was convicted off in 2001. That happened during a rather depressing period of her life when she was known to be on drugs and had to pay plenty of fines, do community service and remained on probation till 2005.
Notwithstanding the personal life of this great star, Winona Ryder would always be remembered for her contribution to cinema. Her Oscars include the best actress award for Little Women the best supporting actress for The Age of Innocence. She would also be remembered for her philanthropy especially for the reward of kidnapped child Polly Klass, where Winona offered $200,000 for her safe return. That child was killed and Winona dedicated her Oscar for best actress to the memory of Polly.
Winona Ryder has also dated Matt Damon, Keanu Reeves and Soul Asylum band member Dave Pirner. She lives currently with Scott Mackinlay Hahn who is a fashion designer and has homes in Beverly Hills and New York.
