Stopped from killing pet dog, Madhya Pradesh man kills wife, two kids, & himself
A man in Madhya Pradesh hacked his wife and two kids to death after he was prevented from killing his pet dog. This marks Madhya Pradesh's second family dispute over a pet dog to result in fatalities.

According to cops, the accused, Dilip Panwar (45), returned home in an inebriated state. While he was standing outside, the family's pet dog started barking at him. Enraged by the animal's behavior, Panwar sought to put an end to the disturbance by attempting to kill the dog. However, his wife, Gangabai, aged 40, and their children, Neha, 17, and Yogendra, 14, intervened in a bid to prevent this gruesome act.
Seething in anger, Panwar attacked his wife and the two teenagers with a sword, killing him on the spot due to excessive bleeding.
However, two other Panwar children, 11-year-old Bulbul and 13-year-old Devendra, managed to escape the onslaught. They fled to safety, seeking refuge from the brutality they had witnessed within their own home. Later, Dilip Panwar killed himself by slicing his own throat with the sword.
Local authorities were later informed by neighbors who had been alerted by the minors who had managed to flee the scene of horror. By the time the police arrived, the lives of all four family members involved had already been tragically claimed.
The surviving children, Bulbul and Devendra, are currently receiving medical treatment at a community health centre, while the final rites for the deceased family members have been solemnly conducted.
This appalling incident marks the second occurrence within a week in Madhya Pradesh where a family dispute involving a pet dog has led to multiple fatalities. Just three days prior in Indore, a similar dispute over a pet dog resulted in two family members losing their lives and several others sustaining injuries.
