As per a senior official of the temple trust, these statues have been made using sandstone sourced from the Bansi Paharpur area of Rajasthan. The statues are placed on different steps as you go up to the temple.
"The entry to the temple will be from the east side, and exit from the south side. The entire temple superstructure will eventually be three storeys -- G+2," said the trust's general secretary, Champat Rai.
To reach the main temple, visitors will climb 32 steps from the eastern side. The statues are set up on different levels along these steps. On the lower steps, there are elephants, on the next level, lions, and on the top step, there are statues of Lord Hanuman and 'Garuda.'
The temple is built in the traditional Nagara style and will be huge – 380 feet long, 250 feet wide, and 161 feet tall.
