SSC Constable GD recruitment 2022: 24,369 vacant posts to be filled; here's how to apply and other details

The Staff Selection Commission has invited citizens to apply for 24, 369 posts lying vacant in the armed forces across the country. Posts available are that of a Constable for general duty in various central paramilitary and security forces from industrial security, border security, and Assam police constabulary, including the department for narcotics control. Candidates can apply by November 30th.

Eligibility: Class 10 Matriculation or equivalent from any recognised board or university.

Age: Candidates applying for the posts mentioned above must be between 18 -23 on January 1st 2023.

Here's how to apply:

• Visit the website ssc.nic.in Once the homepage opens, register yourself.
• Log in with the registration details like the User ID and password you just created.
• Click on “Apply Online” and ensure you select the SSC GD link.
• Make sure you jot down the last date of payment, which is November 30th 2022
• The Examination will be held online on January 2023, for which the date is yet to be announced.
• Post Computer based Examination, a physical test will be conducted, followed by a medical Examination and document verification.
• The candidates can also refer to various icons listed on the homepage of SSC like “Notices” (for future exams), “Apply” (for applications), “Admit Card” (for examination centres and admit cards), “Answer Key” (for downloads post examinations before results being declared).
