SSC CGL Recruitment 2022 notification out: Check eligibility to apply for over 20,000 Group-B and Group-C posts

In a notification, the Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level Examination or SSC CGL 2022 has released the details for the Combined Graduate Level Examination (SSC CGL 2022).

The examination will be conducted to fill up around 20,000 vacancies in various Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ categories in different Ministries, departments and organisations of the Government of India.

Eligible candidates can easily apply for SSC CGL Exam 2022 on the official website, ssc.nic.in.


The application link which is available on the website, will be closed after 8th October 2022, but candidates can pay the exam fee via online mode till 9th October 2022 and further till 10th October 2022 via e-challan.

Dates

• Commencement of online application for SSC CGL: September 17, 2022
• Last date to apply for SSC CGL 2022: October 8, 2022
• Dates of ‘Window for Application Form Correction’ including online payment: October 12 to October 13, 2022

Exam

• Tentative Schedule of Tier-I (Computer Based Examination): December 2022
• Tentative vacancies: There are approximately 20,000 vacancies. However, the exact number of vacancies will be confirmed later on. Moreover, information on category wise vacancies will also be shared later on ssc.nic.in website

Eligibility Criteria

• Aspiring candidates of SSC CGL 2022 will have to abide by all the eligibility criteria determined by the Staff Selection Commission and the information regarding the same can be obtained on ssc.nic.in website

Application Fee

• Candidates applying for the SSC CGL 2022 exam are required to pay Rs 100 as an application fee. On the other hand, there’s no application fee in the case of women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and Exservicemen (ESM).

• Candidates applying for the first time need to register themselves
