The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has recently issued the final revised vacancies for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Exam 2022. The post with the highest number of vacancies, 19,676 in total, is that of Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant in the department of posts – SPN, Ministry of Communication. This year, several candidates were left disappointed after the SSC released the CGL notification for 2023, as the minimum and maximum age requirements for applying to the exam had changed. As per this year’s notification, candidates must be between 18 and 32 years old to apply for the exam, with the age eligibility calculated as of August 1, 2023. In previous years, the age limit was calculated based on January 1 the year the notification was released.
