Protestors cook at PM's residence
After swimming in President Gotabaya Rajapaksa's pool, protestors in Sri Lanka next stopped at Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe's official residence, Temple Tree. This time they were seen camping and cooking there.

In a viral video tweeted by ANI, protestors were seen preparing and cooking food inside the premises of the Sri Lankan PM's residence in Colombo.



This comes a day after they stormed President's residence and did laps in his swimming pool, creating a sensation on the internet.

In another video, groups of protestors were seen playing carrom, lying down leisurely, or loitering in the premises of Temple Tree.

President Rajapaksa has announced that he will resign on July 13 and it has been officially conveyed to Prime Minister Wickremesinghe.

The protestors are taking over the homes of the leaders to protest their failure to save Sri Lanka from its worst ever economic crisis in history. The island nation is reeling under a dire economic crisis with acute food and fuel shortages.
