OnePlus has confirmed that the OnePlus 11 5G and the Buds Pro 2 will launch in India on February 7. It has been verified that the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 would be one of the first TWS earbuds to implement Google's renowned spatial audio function. Spatial audio on Android 13 enables users to have a more immersive experience when using specific compatible headphones and TWS buds. Google announced that Android 13 would support spatial audio when the OS was first released in August 2022.

Now, the Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 7, and Pixel 7 Pro smartphones can play spatial audio. In order to listen to audio in spatial audio, the audio content itself must come from a streaming service that supports it, such as Netflix or YouTube. Additionally, users who want to experience spatial audio on Android must wear appropriate headphones or earbuds. With iOS 14 and iPadOS 14, Apple had already added support for spatial audio to the AirPods Pro. Apple's key products, for the most part, enable spatial audio.

For stability and compatibility with third-party apps, it also includes OnePlus' spatial rendering technique and IMU sensor. The Pixel 6 and Pixel 7 series now have spatial audio support from Google, however, the Pixel Buds Pro are the only ones that have head tracking. Thanks to compatibility for Google's Fast Pair function, the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 will also connect to Android devices rapidly. This eliminates the need to bother with bluetooth settings and enables users to automatically switch between two Android devices. Active Noise Cancellation will probably also be supported by the OnePlus Buds Pro 2. Recently released in China, the wireless earbuds came in two colour options: black and green. According to OnePlus, the Buds Pro 2 has a 29-hour battery life when used without the charging case and Active Noise Cancellation. In China, the Buds Pro 2 is available for CNY 899 (about Rs 10,785), but OnePlus has not yet disclosed the cost in India.
