South Korean stars Park Shin Hye and Choi Tae Joon announce the birth of their baby boy

Well-known South Korean actors Park Shin Hye and Choi Tae Joon welcomed their first child on Tuesday. The actress Park Shin Hye gave birth to a healthy baby boy at a hospital in Seoul. The newborn and mother are in good condition. Park's agency Salt Entertainment gave this good news to her fans in a statement. The famous star is recognised for shows like The Doctors, The Heirs and films The Royal Tailor and The Call.

The talented star couple Shin Hye and Tae Joon fell for each other in late 2017 and since then have been dating. Last year, in November, the duo announced their pregnancy, followed by a fairy-tale wedding ceremony in January 2022. The couple got married on January 22, 2022, in a church in Seoul in the presence of relatives and friends.

Who is Park Shin Hye?

The 1990 born Park Shin Hye is a popular South Korean actress and singer. She started her career as a child artist for TV shows and earned recognition with the shows Stairway to Heaven and Tree of Heaven in 2003 and 2006, respectively. Later, as a mainstream actor, she starred in 'Miracle in Cell No. 7', which became one of the highest-grossing Korean films ever. Park even won accolades for her roles in You're Beautiful (2009), The Heirs (2013), Pinocchio (2014–2015), Doctors (2016), Sisyphus: The Myth (2021) and others.

Who is Choi Tae Joon?
The 30-year-old Choi Tae Joon is a young South Korean actor, model and television host. He gained popularity for a villainous role in 'Missing 9', a disaster-mystery drama released in the year 2017. Later, he took lead roles in Exit in 2018, a melodrama and rom-com, So I Married the Anti-fan in 2021. Choi took up military service on August 1, 2019, and functioned as a public service worker. However, he was discharged from his services in 2021 due to persistent health problems.
