South Korea Halloween stampede: BTS members postpone shows and delete Halloween posts
After a deadly stampede in Itaewon, all entertainment events in South Korea were postponed. South Korea has declared a national mourning till November 5.

Yoon Suk-yeol, the president of South Korea, has declared national mourning till November 5. All entertainment events have been postponed in the country. On the other hand, Big Hit Music stated that they had cancelled the Stationhead Listening Party for Astronauts. Besides, the release of the lyrics video has been shelved due to the tragic incident.
Most of the people who died in the stampede were teenagers or in their 20s. Earlier, BTS member JHope had posted a funny post for Halloween. However, he deleted the post soon after the news spread about the tragedy.
Notably, Halloween is a significant festival in the K-Pop industry. Several entertainment agencies organise parties that are attended by K-Pop idols. After the Seoul Ferry Tragedy, this is the second tragic incident in South Korea where mostly young people lost their lives.
