South film industry set for another blockbuster: Bimbisara

'Bimbisara' stars Jr. NTR's brother Nandamuri Kalyan Ram in the title role of the Emperor of Magadh of the 5th century BC, along with Catherine Tresa, Samyuktha Menon and Warina Hussain. It is said to be Kalyan Ram's best movie so far.

The fantasy action drama, which released last Friday, is said to be releasing in north India with subtitles.
After RRR, KGF2, Pushpa, and Vikram, the South film industry seems all set to deliver another blockbuster this year. According to reports, Telugu film "Bimbisara", which released last week, is turning out to be another blockbuster.

According to the Times of India, the film garnered Rs 24 crores in the first weekend itself and has over 50 per cent occupancy.

'Bimbisara' stars Jr. NTR's brother Nandamuri Kalyan Ram in the title role of the Emperor of Magadh of the 5th century BC, along with Catherine Tresa, Samyuktha Menon and Warina Hussain. It is said to be Kalyan Ram's best movie so far.


The fantasy action drama, which released last Friday, is said to be releasing in north India with subtitles.

The film is produced by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram's home banner NTR Arts, which despite intense competition from other filmmakers, was able to put together this massive project.

Bimbisara said to be made at a budget of Rs 40 crore.
