Sonu Nigam buys small studio size 258.33 sqft office in Andheri for Rs 1 crore
Singer Sonu Nigam has purchased a 258.33 sq ft commercial office in Mumbai’s Andheri West for Rs 1 crore. The deal, registered on August 6, 2026, takes his total disclosed outlay to Rs 1.06 crore after stamp duty and registration charges.

The office is located in Sundervan Complex on Lokhandwala Road and has a carpet area of 258.33 sq ft. The documents list the buyer as Sonu Agamkumar Nigam, the singer’s full name, and Singular Health Private Limited as the seller.
Sonu Nigam pays Rs 6 lakh stamp duty
Nigam paid Rs 6 lakh in stamp duty for the transaction, while another Rs 30,000 was paid as the registration fee. After adding these charges, the total disclosed expenditure on the property comes to Rs 1.06 crore.The transaction translates to roughly Rs 38,710 per sq ft based on the office’s carpet area and the stated property value.
The purchase comes as Mumbai’s western suburbs continue to attract strong interest from high-profile buyers. Areas such as Andheri, Bandra and Juhu have remained sought-after real estate markets, with commercial as well as residential properties commanding substantial prices.
Sonu Nigam’s recent property transactions
The latest purchase is not Nigam’s only real estate transaction in recent years. The singer has been involved in several deals involving commercial properties and land parcels.In May 2026, Nigam sold a 1.067-hectare parcel of land in Karjat, part of the Mumbai 3.0 region, for Rs 95 lakh, according to property registration documents accessed by CRE Matrix.
Before that, in April, he sold multiple parcels of land in Karjat measuring more than 1.9 hectares. The properties were sold for a combined Rs 1.95 crore.
Karjat, located in Maharashtra’s Raigad district, is a popular destination near Mumbai and is known for its hill landscape.
Sonu Nigam’s father bought Madh Island property
Nigam’s family has also made a sizeable real estate investment this year. In February 2026, his father Agam Kumar Nigam purchased a 1,197 sq m plot at Mumbai’s Madh Island. The property includes a ground-plus-one-floor residential and commercial structure.The transaction was valued at Rs 10 crore, according to property registration documents accessed by Liases Foras.
Nigam had leased BKC office to hospitality company
Apart from buying and selling properties, Sonu Nigam was also involved in a major commercial lease in Mumbai last year.In December 2025, he leased a 4,257 sq ft office space at Trade Centre in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) to Pattni Hospitality, the company behind Downtown 29 cafe and bar.
The five-year lease was registered on December 2, 2025. Documents reviewed by SquareYards showed that the agreement involved total rent of more than Rs 12.61 crore over the lease period.
The latest Andheri West purchase adds another commercial property to Nigam’s recent real estate activity in Mumbai.
