Congress Parliamentary Party (CPP) Chairperson Sonia Gandhi has made her debut on Instagram, sharing her first video to offer a glimpse of her upcoming memoir, Belonging: A Journey of Love.

In her debut post, Sonia Gandhi expressed gratitude to her followers while unveiling the first look of the book, which is scheduled to be published in November.

“Hello everyone, I’m truly grateful to share this moment with you all; the first look of Belonging: A Journey of Love,” she wrote in the caption. “It is a story of love, duty, loss and finding a place to belong. I look forward to sharing it with you,” the post read.

Sonia Gandhi's Memoir ‘Belonging: A Journey of Love’ To Release In November

Publisher Alfred A. Knopf announced on August 18 that Sonia Gandhi's memoir, Belonging: A Journey of Love, would be released on November 10.

The book is expected to offer readers a glimpse into her personal journey, reflecting on themes of love, duty, loss and belonging.

Born in Italy, Sonia Gandhi was a 19-year-old student in Cambridge, England, when she met Rajiv Gandhi in 1965. The couple married on February 25, 1968.

Recently, Rahul Gandhi shared his excitement about his mother's memoir on the 82nd birth anniversary of his father and former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.

Expressing his pride in Sonia Gandhi's decision to share her personal story with readers, the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha said he was happy that people would finally get to read her account.

"I am happy, and so proud, that your story--'Belonging: A Journey of Love'--will finally be read by the millions of people who love you. I know how hard it was for someone as private as you to tell the world your beautiful story. Today, on his birthday, I can see Papa smiling and looking down proudly at his beautiful Sonia," the Congress leader added.
