Sonam Kapoor announces birth of baby boy, shares family update on Instagram

Actor Sonam Kapoor has announced the birth of her second child, a baby boy, through an Instagram story, sharing that her family has now grown to four members.

Kapoor, who is married to businessman Anand Ahuja, already has a son named Vayu, born in August 2022.

In her post, she said the baby was born on March 29, 2026. “With immense gratitude and hearts full of love, we are delighted to announce the arrival of our baby boy on the 29th of March 2026. Our family has grown and with his arrival our hearts have expanded in the most beautiful way,” she wrote.

She added that Vayu is overjoyed to welcome his younger brother and described the moment as a deeply blessed new chapter for the family.

The actor also expressed gratitude as she and Ahuja begin this new phase as a family of four, saying the new arrival has filled their home with happiness and grace.
