Son Ye-Jin and Hyun Bin to welcome their first child in December

South Korean power couple Son Ye-Jin and Hyun Bin are expecting their first child, a boy, in December. The Crash Landing on You co-stars got hitched in March 2022 and broke the pregnancy news in July.

Son’s agency announced that their first child is a boy and that it would arrive in December. The agency also said that the mother and the baby are both in good health, and Son calmly preparing for her child’s arrival. In an earlier Instagram post, the 40-year-old soon-to-be mother said that she felt dazed and felt changes in her body.

Son added that she thought that her fans and acquaintances must be the first people to know about the baby. She also ensured that they protect the "valuable life" they were bestowed with. Per media reports, Hyun and Son, the lead actors in the popular South Korean drama series, fell in love while on the sets of Crash Landing on You.


Crash Landing on You is a South Korean show about an heiress who crashes and lands in the North Korean Demilitarized Zone (DMZ). The series became popular globally after Netflix premiered the show between December 14, 2019, to February 16, 2020. After the show ended, they started dating.

Hyun Bin will be next seen in the upcoming crime thriller The Point Men, while Son Ye-Jin will be starring in Cross.
