Snapchat launches Diwali AR lenses and emoji stickers
Snapchat has introduced plenty of AR lenses and stickers to commemorate Diwali, the festival of lights, and all users can bask in its glory.

All tabs in the app also have something related to the Diwali festival. A user can photograph a shop in his locality that delights the family with delectables and light up the shop in the photograph by sticking diyas or fireworks. Rasgullas, laddoo and barfi emojis can also highlight what that shop specialises in. Small businesses will be given encouragement as they have introduced a new method to highlight the sweet shop in an area.
Snapchat also encourages people to post their favourite Diwali gift or dress and wishes family members well by posting their photographs.
The camera app, the most prominent feature of Snapchat, will have Diwali-themed anti-reflection or AR lenses and geo-filters to make it a more colourful Diwali. The chat section can be used to wish family members and friends, where one can use Bitmoji and cameo stickers to highlight their Diwali mood. The Maps tab will also have its share of emojis, lights, fireworks, and lanterns.
Snapchat has also uploaded the trailers for Phone Swap Season 2 and Season 3. This show is about two people on a blind date who exchange phones to learn more about each other. Lakshya Malu of Market Development Snapchat India says the objective is to promote local culture.
