Music composer and filmmaker Palash Muchhal has been spotted at Shri Hit Radha Keli Kunj in Vrindavan, marking his first spiritual outing weeks after his wedding to World Cup-winning cricketer Smriti Mandhana was postponed indefinitely. A photograph of Palash wearing a mask inside the ashram has now gone viral across social media platforms.

Palash Muchhal's First Public Appearance After Wedding Delay

Earlier this week, Palash was seen at the airport, his first public appearance since the sudden postponement of the couple’s wedding. The ceremony was scheduled to take place in Sangli, Maharashtra on 23 November, but was cancelled due to unavoidable medical emergencies within the families. His recent visit to the ashram has drawn attention, as netizens continue to follow updates surrounding the couple.

Smriti Mandhana-Palash Muchhal Wedding: Medical Emergencies Led to Postponement

The wedding was put on hold after Smriti Mandhana’s father, Shrinivas Mandhana, was admitted to hospital due to a heart condition. Shortly after, Palash Muchhal also required hospitalisation after developing viral symptoms and acidity issues.

Both were discharged later, but the family decided to postpone the wedding until health stabilised. Soon after, Palak Muchhal, Palash’s sister, issued a statement confirming that the wedding had been “put on hold”.

Smriti Mandhana-Palash Muchhal Wedding: Rumours of New Wedding Date Ruled Out

On Tuesday, several reports claimed that Smriti Mandhana and Palash Muchhal would tie the knot on 7 December. However, those reports were dismissed quickly. Smriti’s brother clarified that the ceremony remained “still on hold” and no fresh date had been scheduled. Since then, no family member from either side has offered further updates about the next possible wedding date.

Social Media Buzz: Deleted Posts and New Emojis

The delay has also played out on social media. After the wedding was postponed, Smriti Mandhana deleted all wedding- and engagement-related posts, including the viral video of Palash’s dreamy stadium proposal at the DY Patil Stadium.
Last week, both Smriti and Palash added an evil eye emoji to their Instagram bios, fuelling speculation among fans about an attempt to ward off negativity.

No Official Statement Yet From the Couple

So far, neither Smriti Mandhana nor Palash Muchhal has issued a public statement regarding the postponement or a new date for the wedding. The only confirmed development at present is that the ceremony remains paused until further notice, despite ongoing online curiosity and circulating rumours.

Palash’s quiet spiritual visit to Premanand Maharaj’s ashram in Vrindavan suggests a period of reflection and healing, as both families prioritise health and well-being before celebrations resume.
