Smriti Irani shares video on the double benefits of speaking last

Union minister Smriti Irani shares a lot of wit and wisdom on her social media handles and this one is a clip of a speech by British-American author and inspirational speaker Simon Sinek.

The post on her Instagram account is the video on Sinek explaining the benefits of speaking last. Sinek says it takes learning to be the last to speak.

He says he has often seen it in boardrooms that people who consider themselves good leaders volunteer with what they think about a problem before going around the room. He says this would be too late.


" The skill to hold your opinion till everyone else has spoken does two things: It gives everyone else the feeling that they have been heard and two you get the benefit of hearing what everyone else has thought," he sums up.
