Smriti Irani rides scooty to work after Tiranga Yatra: Watch video

Union minister Smriti Irani on Wednesday posted a video of her driving a scooty along the roads of central Delhi with MoS Health Bharati Pawar on the pillion.

"Dropping @dr.bharatippawar Tai, MoS Health to office after a great start to the day with Tiranga Yatra," she captioned the video on Instagram.

Irani is dressed in a sari and Pawar is in a salwar kameez, with both of them sporting orange helmets and the MoS Health wearing a mask. They have two Tricolours with them, one fixed to the scooty and the other being held by Pawar.


Both of them were on their way to office after participating in the Tiranga Yatra flagged off by Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu.

Within seven hours of its posting, the video was viewed 380, 000 times with nearly 56,000 likes.

It is under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav held to mark the 75th year of India's Independence.
