SIR form download: Check steps to download and submit SIR enumeration form online

The Special Intensive Revision (SIR) enumeration form is now available online, with the entire process managed directly by the Election Commission of India (ECI). Unlike the offline method, electors don’t need to download any form. They can simply click the dedicated link on the ECI or CEO West Bengal website, or use the ECINET app, and fill in their details.

The online process is designed to be user-friendly. Citizens can begin by visiting the portal’s “Services” section and selecting the clearly labelled “Fill Enumeration Form” option, allowing them to complete the required documentation for the electoral roll revision with ease.

However, to submit SIR enumeration forms online, the EC has made it mandatory to link your EPIC with your mobile number. The EPIC (Electors Photo Identity Card) is a 10-digit unique identification number issued by the Election Commission. As per the commission, all voters must complete and submit the enumeration form either to the BLO or through the online portal.

How to submit form online

• Visit voters.eci.gov.in
• Click on “Fill Enumeration Form”
• Enter your mobile number or EPIC number
• Select your state and re-enter your EPIC number
• Review the electoral details displayed
• Ensure your EPIC is linked to your mobile number before proceeding
• If not linked, you can link it instantly by submitting Form-8 (go to “Correction of Entries in Existing Electoral Roll” and select the “Mobile Number” option under Form-8)
• After linking, log in again
• Fill out the enumeration form, including details from the last SIR
• Submit the form using Aadhaar-based e-sign
• Make sure the name on your EPIC and Aadhaar matches for successful e-sign and submission.
