Singer Vishal Dadlani lives in a luxurious Pune farmhouse with scenic views, pool, music studio and Michael Jackson poster ‘almost the price of his house’

Filmmaker Farah Khan recently visited singer-composer Vishal Dadlani’s luxurious farmhouse near Pune. Accompanied by her cook Dilip, Farah gave viewers a glimpse of the scenic property through her latest vlog.

The white duplex farmhouse is surrounded by lush greenery, a lake and the Pune hills. Its interiors blend contemporary design with rustic elements, while large glass windows bring the outdoors into the living spaces.

Vishal Dadlani Reveals When He Built The Farmhouse

Vishal Dadlani revealed that the farmhouse was built between 2010 and 2013, several years after Farah Khan’s 2007 directorial Om Shanti Om, for which Vishal-Shekhar composed the music.


“I built it between 2010-13, much after Om Shanti Om.”

The upper-floor drawing room features a white sofa, chocolate-brown wooden flooring and earthy-toned furniture. Floor-to-ceiling glass windows allow plenty of natural light into the room and offer expansive views of the surrounding landscape.

A large balcony also overlooks the greenery and hills, adding to the property's relaxed atmosphere.

Rustic Living Space Opens Towards The Pool

The ground floor has an open-air living area designed with a more rustic aesthetic. Exposed stone walls add character, while the space is furnished with earthy-toned pieces and a four-poster canopy bed covered with white drapes.

The outdoor area leads towards a pool surrounded by greenery. A separate shed with a swing and chairs also offers another space to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

Farah Khan, who has visited and stayed at the farmhouse several times, said she is still impressed by its scenic location.

“I have come to his house many times, and I have even stayed here. But each time I come here, I am amazed by the view,” Farah revealed.

Farmhouse Has A Dedicated Music Studio

Given Vishal Dadlani’s career in music, the farmhouse also features a dedicated music studio equipped with instruments and speakers.

The studio includes an Om Shanti Om poster signed by Farah Khan. Vishal showed it to the filmmaker during the tour and said he planned to display it once the studio was fully arranged.

“There’s an Om Shanti Om poster frame that you signed for me. I will put it up once everything is set up,” the music composer told Farah.

The studio also houses a signed Michael Jackson poster, which Vishal said he bought at an auction.

“There’s also a signed copy of Michael Jackson’s poster. It is almost the price of my house. I bought it at an auction. I can buy another studio from that money; it’s that costly.”

Simple Yet Bright Kitchen

Unlike some of the more elaborate spaces in the farmhouse, the kitchen has a relatively simple design. Brown cupboards and drawers dominate the room, while large glass windows allow natural light to brighten the space.

Farah’s visit also included a family moment, as Vishal introduced her to his maami, who prepared puranpoli for the guests.

Farah Khan And Vishal Dadlani’s Long Association

Farah Khan and Vishal Dadlani have shared a professional association for years. Vishal-Shekhar composed the music for Farah’s 2007 film Om Shanti Om, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone.

The farmhouse tour offered fans a glimpse not only into Vishal’s scenic retreat but also into the personal spaces that reflect his love for music and nature.
