'Showoff' pigeon does three backflips, Twitter awards a perfect 10

A white-and-blue pigeon which spreads its wings and does a perfect backflip - not once, not twice, but thrice in succession - has caught the imagination of Twitter.

The video posted by users Hana and Figen is going viral and has already raked up millions of views.

The tweets don't say where the video is from. It shows a group of pigeons on the ground, some white, some grey, one blue. In focus, is a white pigeon with big inky blue splotches on its neck and wings


And then, the star pigeon braces its right leg and does a perfect backflip with minimum ground clearance. It goes on to repeat it two more times. Perfect technique, perfect execution, perfect landing. A perfect 10. The other pigeons go about their business, nonplussed.
People on Twitter absolutely loved the acrobatic pigeon. One user said it was a Tumbler pigeon, the breed known for its ability to roll over backwards while in flight. Iranian highflyers, maybe? Dunno about that.
Most users went, 'wow'. Some others called it out as a 'showoff'.
