Shivon Zilis and her connection to Elon Musk

Shivon Zilis is an alma-mater of Yale University and has worked as a Project-Director at Tesla. The company Neuralink was founded in 2016 by Elon Musk where Zilis currently works. She was part of the women’s ice hockey team while in college in her native Canada, in the state of Ontario. She has also has worked as a fellow at the Creative Destruction Lab. Zilis also featured in the Forbes' 30 under 30 list and Linked In’s 35 under 35 list.

Elon Musk is currently 51 years old and the richest man on the planet. He is also the CEO of Tesla and the founder of SpaceX.

On July 6, 2022 a tabloid announced that Elon Musk had welcomed twins with Shivon Zilis in November 2021. A court document retrieved by the press states that the twins were given their mother’s last name 'Zilis' as their middle name and their father’s name as their last. The judge in Astin Texas gave his sign of approval on the petition in May 2022.


The Insider states that Elon Musk became a father of the twins just a few weeks before he fathered another child with Claire Boucher. Boucher also has another child fathered by Elon Musk. Boucher is popularly known as Grimes, her stage name.

Shivon and Musk met in San Francisco when Shivon was offered a job as an advisor in OpenAI, Musk’s artificial intelligence company. It is an R&D non-profit company. While there, Zilis climbed the ladder as one of Musk’s top executives.

Zilis is expected to lead Twitter if Musk’s bid goes through. It was in April 2022 that the board at Twitter confirmed the $44 billion takeover bid by Elon Musk but at the moment is on standby till Musk agrees to take it on after scrutinizing additional data.
