Dube played a crucial part in India national cricket team winning the ICC Men's T20 World Cup in 2026. He delivered an impactful performance in the final against the New Zealand national cricket team, smashing 26 runs off just eight balls.Throughout the tournament, the all-rounder contributed with both bat and ball, making valuable contributions to India’s successful campaign.

Quiet Train Journey to Reach Family
According to PTI, Dube quietly travelled by train from Ahmedabad to Mumbai after the tournament.He boarded the Sayaji Nagari Express from Ahmedabad early Monday morning along with his wife Anjum Khan and a friend, just hours after India lifted the World Cup trophy.
Before the train reached Borivali, Dube requested assistance from the Government Railway Police to ensure he could leave the station discreetly.
Police officers in plain clothes escorted the cricketer to his vehicle outside the station, helping him avoid drawing public attention.
