A humorous interaction between Shivam Dube and paparazzi outside a building has gone viral on social media. In the video that surfaced online, the Indian all-rounder appeared surprised after noticing photographers waiting for him.

"How have you guys come here?" asked Dube. The paparazzi revealed they had spotted him. They also complimented the cricketer for his recent performances.

Adding to the lighthearted moment, Dube joked, "Meri biwi aa rahi hai, uske saath bana lena (My wife is coming. You can make a video of her)," drawing laughter. The conversation became even funnier when he later requested the photographers to delete the video.

Key Role in India’s T20 World Cup 2026 Triumph

Dube played a crucial part in India national cricket team winning the ICC Men's T20 World Cup in 2026. He delivered an impactful performance in the final against the New Zealand national cricket team, smashing 26 runs off just eight balls.

Throughout the tournament, the all-rounder contributed with both bat and ball, making valuable contributions to India’s successful campaign.

Railway officials revealed that with flights fully booked, the cricketer opted to travel by train so he could reach home quickly to be with his two young children, despite the possibility of being recognised by fans.

He boarded the Sayaji Nagari Express from Ahmedabad early Monday morning along with his wife Anjum Khan and a friend, just hours after India lifted the World Cup trophy.

A railway official said that after spotting Dube’s name on the reservation chart, a ticket checker wondered if he was indeed the cricketer. However, his wife cleverly handled the situation by asking why the cricketer would travel by train.

Before the train reached Borivali, Dube requested assistance from the Government Railway Police to ensure he could leave the station discreetly.

Police officers in plain clothes escorted the cricketer to his vehicle outside the station, helping him avoid drawing public attention.
