Shehzada Box office Collection Day 3: Kartik Aaryan, Kriti Sanon starrer struggles to survive, falls flat

Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon starrer Shehzada directed by Rohit Dhawan were expected to blow up the box office. However, the film failed at the box office. Shehzada was supposed to be released on February 10, but it was pushed back to February 17 as Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan maintained its record-breaking box office run.


The strategy appears to have backfired on Kartik Aaryan. According to reports, the actor has also taken on the role of producer for this film, revealing that he returned his acting fee for Shehzada due to a 'crisis.'



Shehzada is a Hindi remake of Allu Arjun's Telugu blockbuster ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’, which was released in 2020. The film's Hindi dubbed version is also available on YouTube. Because the majority of people have seen Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, it appears that Shehzada is not the first choice for moviegoers. Shehzada, on the other hand, is up against Pathaan, Dhanush's recently released Vaathi, and Marvel's Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. According to early estimates from trade analysts, Kartik Aaryan's Shehzada will earn Rs 7.25 crores on Day 3 at the box office.

Shehzada has underperformed at the box office, according to trade analyst Taran Adarsh. He wrote, revealing the market numbers on Day 1 and Day 2 of the film's release, "Shehzada fails miserably. Despite the MahaShivratri holiday, there is no significant growth. The road ahead [weekdays] appears to be rocky, given the weekend's lacklustre performance. Friday 6 cr, Saturday 6.65 cr. Total: 12.65 crores [+/-]." This brings Shehzada's total first-weekend collection to Rs 22- 22.5 crore.
