‘She destroyed my confidence’: Nawazuddin Siddiqui reveals daughter Shora’s brutal take on his dancing

Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui recently opened up about his daughter Shora, sharing insights into her interest in acting and her candid opinions about his work.

Shora’s Passion for Acting

In a recent interview with Zoom, the actor revealed that his 16-year-old daughter is deeply interested in acting. However, he emphasized that her education remains the priority.

“She will complete her studying first, then we will see. She is passionate about acting though," he said.


Interestingly, Nawazuddin shared that Shora has barely seen his movies.

“All daughters are straightforward with their fathers. She hasn’t watched many of my films. She might have watched Gangs Of Wasseypur discreetly. But, she keeps criticizing me for my dance," he said.

The actor also spoke about how his daughter openly critiques his dancing skills, often telling him to avoid it altogether.

“She asks me not to do it. I am a poor dancer. She has destroyed my confidence. I am low on confidence about dancing now. I will try again. It is not necessary for everything to be perfect, some people just want to have fun," said Nawazuddin.
