Kamlesh Nanasaheb Ghumare, popularly known as Jugadu Kamlesh who featured in season one of the show, presented a pesticide-spraying device that took seven years to develop and caught the judges' attention. After his pitch on the show, he was advised to make specific changes to his product.
Peyush Bansal, the CEO of Lenskart, was impressed with Kamlesh's innovation and invested 10 lakh rupees in his company, KG Agrotech, in exchange for a 40 per cent stake. He also provided a loan of Rs 20 lakh with no interest to support the development of the device. Recently, Bansal took to Instagram to update his followers on Kamlesh's progress.
In the video shared on Instagram, Kamlesh and his design team demonstrated an improved version of the pesticide-spraying device. The new model is faster, lighter, and automatic, and can reach a height of 10 feet and cover ground space, providing benefits to farmers.
The product is named "Bharat K-2." Bansal captioned the video, "Not everyone is as privileged as some of us are, but they do have potential...and sometimes all they need is a little nudge to realise their dreams." The video has since gone viral, receiving close to 729,000 views and nearly 107,000 likes on Instagram.
