After a tremendously successful first season, the business based reality show Shark Tank India returned for its second season earlier this month. Entrepreneurs on the show pitch their businesses to the "sharks," who then decide whether or not to invest in their ideas in exchange for a portion of the equity in their businesses.

Shaadi.com's founder and chief executive officer, Anupam Mittal, is very active on social media, displaying his fun side. He asked Twitter users the question, "Is Twitter becoming the new Quora?" through his Twitter account this Saturday (January 21).

In a response to his tweet, a Twitter user named Atul Mishra compared the new season of Shark Tank to a popular daily soap opera saying, "Naah but Shark Tank is the new Sasural Simar Ka".

Anupam, in a witty response to this Tweet said, "Oh good for you since you clearly watch both," causing quite a stir. To which the user responded that he did watch it and has only realised its value after watching substandard shows, possibly referring to Shark Tank India.

"Do take this feedback and work on it in the next season," wrote another netizen in response to Atul's argument, "We have enough sob shows that we skip so skipping this one is no big deal but this was a good show in season 1", commented another.

This caused many to come in support of the user Atul suggesting that indeed the standard of Season 2 of the show has decreased. To which Anupam said that as a shark, he and the producers aim at keeping the authenticity and innocence alive.
