Shark Tank India: Sony to launch second season on January 2
Sony announced in March that it intended to offer more international show concepts, both scripted and unscripted, in India in order to capitalise on the success of Shark Tank India's first season.

The show, a takeoff on the American reality show, includes business presentations by entrepreneurs to a group of financiers who decide to invest.

The first episode of season 2 will return to television screens on 2nd January.
Ashneer Grover won't be appearing as a shark this season, but the shark panel will include a new member.
Namita Thapar, Anupam Mittal, Aman Gupta, Peyush Bansal, and Vineeta Singh the sharks from season 1, are all eager to invest in budding businesses. Amit Jain, who is the co-founder and CEO of CarDekho Group, will be the new shark on the panel.
In its second season, the programme will once more provide young and aspriring entrepreneurs with a platform to undertake their entrepreneurial aspirations by pitching their ideas and concepts to seasoned investors and renowned business professionals. The first season of the show sparked India's economic growth engine and altered how the nation sees entrepreneurship. The programme is based on premise of Shark Tank USA. Shark Tank India debuted its inaugural season in December 2021.
The team last year also comprised of Gazal Alagh, the co-founder of MamaEarth. Since, she didn't appear in the teaser, it looks like she won't be making an appearance in this season either.
