In the February 13 episode of Shark Tank India 2, a huge bidding war took place between Peyush Bansal and Namita Thapar. They were all hoping to strike a deal with an e-clinic brand, which eventually went to Namita.

Akanksh Tandon and Soumen Banerjee pitched their healthcare startup DigiQure E-Clinic, which connects patients in rural areas with city doctors for better care. The pitch began with Akanksh telling an emotional story about his housekeeper's daughter dying as a child from diarrhoea. As Peyush Bansal-Anupam Mittal and Namita Thapar made aggressive offers with different perspectives, audiences got to see a different side of the ‘sharks’.

Vineeta Singh and Namita Thapar offered them Rs 40 lakh for 20% equity as opposed to the original offer of Rs 40 lakh for 4%. Because the entrepreneurs also own an IT firm, the sharks' offer was contingent on them merging their IT firm with healthcare.

Peyush Bansal offered to contribute Rs 1 crore in exchange for 25% equity under the same terms. Namita revised her proposal, stating that this business needs "contacts" rather than "technology." As a result, the two sharks engaged in a verbal brawl.

During this time, Anupam Mittal intervened and offered a dream deal of Rs 1 crore for 10% equity. He also suggested that the e-clinics be named after the deceased child. Vineeta backed out after Namita stated that she was willing to negotiate. After a lengthy bidding war, Namita Thapar was able to secure the deal for Rs 40 lakh for 10% equity because the pitchers were eager to have her on board.

Anupam cautioned the pitchers about their lack of understanding of the business. When he insisted on changing the name of the E-clinic, Namita said it was not necessary and that they would remember her in their hearts. "This is a major mistake," Peyush Bansal added. "Hiring a medical firm killed their business. It is the worst decision they have ever made”. They made the worst choice they could have ever made. "I'm sorry for them," Namita responded to him with a smile, calling his behaviour "sour grapes."
