Shark Tank India 2: Over Rs 42 crore in investment so far, Namita Thapar leads the race

Shark Tank India 2 has received an investment of Rs. 42.93 crore after five weeks, with Namita Thapar, Peyush Bansal, and Aman Gupta leading the way.

Shark Tank India 2 has now completed five weeks of glory. The start-up-focused show features entrepreneurs from throughout the country presenting their products in the hopes of securing an investment. Aman Gupta, Amit Jain, Namita Thapar, Anupam Mittal, Peyush Bansal, and Vineeta Singh are this season's sharks. According to a Sony TV promo, Shark Tank India 2 has already received an investment of Rs. 42.93 crore after only five weeks, according to reports.

Emcure's Namita Thapar leads the race with Rs. 10.25 crore, followed by Peyush Bansal (Lenskart), who has invested Rs. 8.86 crore in the various startups. According to the video, Aman Gupta (boAt) invested Rs. 8.26 crore, Anupam Mittal (Shaadi.com) invested Rs. 7.29 crore, and Vineeta Singh (Sugar Cosmetics) invested Rs. 4.61 crore. Amit Jain (CarDekho), who recently joined the programme, has invested Rs. 3.66 crore, as per reports.

The entrepreneur denied the allegations, claiming that she was a little 'selective'. Thapar also stated that her single investment in Rare Planet, an eco-friendly handicraft organisation, was the year's biggest success story.

The executive director said that she uses the 4F investment framework- founder, foundation, financials, and fit which is also mentioned in her book "The Dolphin and The Shark".
