Shahid Kapoor reacts in ‘Kabir Singh’ style after losing Twitter Blue tick

Micro-blogging platform Twitter has removed blue check mark (verified) badges from accounts not subscribed to Twitter Blue subscription.

After legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan’s hilarious response on losing the blue tick on Twitter, now actor Shahid Kapoor's reaction has left netizens in splits.

In a hilarious tweet, Shahid Kapoor channeled his inner Kabir Singh and said, “ "Kabir Singh" mode, Shahid wrote, "Mere blue tick ko kisne touch kiya... Elon, tu wahi ruk main aaraha hu ( who touched my blue tick...Elon (Musk), you stay there, I am coming)."




Fans loved how he tweaked the famous dialogue from Kabir Singh in 2019.

Netizens reacted to Shahid’s tweet and one of them said, “ Haha, good one.”

Another one mentioned the lead female character from the movie Kabir Singh and said, "Preeti ko mat bhool jana bhai,"

Shahid Kapoor has a huge fan following of 15.4 million followers on social media.

Apart from Sahid, Many celebrities lost the blue mark on Twitter and the microblogging platform CEO Elon Musk announced paid subscription for the verified status.

Celebrities including Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma, and Virat Kohli lost their blue checkmark from their Twitter accounts.

The only people who have verified blue checkmarks on their Twitter accounts are those paying for Twitter Blue, which costs USD 8/month via the web and USD 11/month through the in-app payment on iOS and Android. In India the cost is Rs 900/month for the in-app payment on iOS and Android and Rs 650/month for the web.

Earlier, Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan also posted a hilarious tweet requesting Twitter to return his verified status as he has paid for it.
