Shahid Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and Kriti Sanon’s ‘Cocktail 2’ teaser to play alongside ‘Dhurandhar 2’, check first look and release date

Director Homi Adajania is set to revisit the world of Cocktail with its sequel, Cocktail 2. The original 2012 film starred Deepika Padukone, Saif Ali Khan, and Diana Penty and became a fan favourite.

The upcoming sequel features Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles. After keeping audiences curious for months, the makers have finally unveiled the film’s first look.

First look posters unveiled

The team released the first posters of “Cocktail 2” today, offering fans a glimpse of the film’s new cast. In one poster, Kriti is seen relaxing inside a car, carrying a vibe reminiscent of Deepika Padukone from the original film.

Another poster highlights Shahid, who appears charismatic and stylish, radiating effortless charm. In the third poster, Rashmika is shown enthusiastically capturing scenic views on her phone, adding a lively and playful energy to the visuals.

Teaser to debut in theatres on March 18

Fans will get the first glimpse of the much-awaited film in theatres, as the teaser will be showcased exclusively in cinemas on March 18. The teaser will be screened during the preview shows of Dhurandhar 2.

Promising a vibrant blend of romance, drama, and high-energy storytelling, “Cocktail 2” continues Maddock Films’ reputation for delivering colourful, youth-centric entertainers. The film is scheduled to hit theatres on June 19.

Meanwhile, Shahid was last seen in O’Romeo, directed by Vishal Bhardwaj. The film also starred Triptii Dimri and Avinash Tiwary.

Set in 1990s Mumbai, the action-romance is based on a book about mafia queens. Shahid plays a fierce gangster named Ustara who battles rival gangs, falls in love with Triptii’s character Afshan, a widow seeking revenge, and navigates betrayal with the support of a cop played by Nana Patekar.
