Shah Rukh Khan's 'Swades' co-star Gayatri Oberoi lives in a 75,000 sq ft Juhu bungalow with nine floors, rooftop infinity pool facing Arabian Sea, private theatre and Italian interiors

The former actor, best known for playing Geeta opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Swades, has moved into a sprawling new Mumbai residence with husband Vikas Oberoi.

Designed by Italian architect Piero Lissoni, the massive residence spans around 75,000 sq ft across nine floors. The couple began planning the home in 2015, creating separate zones for family life, entertaining, wellness and privacy.

Vikas Oberoi wanted the residence to function with the efficiency of a boutique luxury hotel. The home includes a Molteni kitchen designed to accommodate international chefs during private dinners and charity events.

The residence includes a 12-seater private theatre, along with a private gym and spa. Two entrances and two staircases help separate the public entertaining areas from the more private parts of the home.

One of the home's standout features is its rooftop infinity pool overlooking the Arabian Sea. The architecture has been designed to make the sea-facing setting an integral part of the home's experience.

Gayatri Joshi rose to fame after starring opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Swades and later stepped away from acting. Her new Juhu home reflects her life away from the screen, bringing together family, art, wellness, entertaining and Mumbai's sea-facing setting.

The interiors combine wood, marble, neutral tones and natural textures, with Indian art adding character. The couple's collection includes works by MF Husain, Ravinder Reddy and Manjit Bawa, collected over years through travels and auctions.
