Super star Shah Rukh Khan has announced the release dates of his new upcoming film Pathaan. Announcing on Twitter, Shah Rukh said that the spy thriller will release on January 25 next year.

Sharing the posters on his twitter handle, Shah Rukh Khan wrote, "Peti baandh li hai..? Toh chalein!!! #55DaysToPathaan. (Have you fastened your seat belt? Then, let's begin the journey-only 55 days more (January 25 2023) before Pathan arrives!) Celebrate #Pathaan with #YRF50 only at a big screen near you on 25th January, 2023."



"The film will also be released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu," Shah Rukh tweeted for his fans to ramp up the excitement of the forthcoming film.

The film has been creating a buzz in the industry since the first launch of a teaser last month on King Khan's birthday. The film is touted to be one of the biggest projects of Shah Rukh Khan. The film also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in lead roles.

What is Pathaan's storyline?
As the release date comes closer, rumours are going in circles about the background of the Pathaan. According to a source, A RAW agent with the codename, Pathaan is at the film's centre. He (Pathaan) takes on the villain, who is determined to destroy India's security system. For the action movie fans, viewers will see SRK in a completely different look in this action movie.

Sidharth Anand, director of the film, spoke highly about the lead pair Shah Rukh and Deepika and said their electrifying chemistry makes them unique. The action thriller will also feature two potential chartbuster songs.

The film will release in the theatres in a multi-language format in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu versions on January 25 2023.
