Shah Rukh Khan has a new car. Here's all about it

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has reportedly acquired a new car.

According to Moneycontrol, the Badshah of Bollywood has now got a Mercedes-Benz V-Class, a luxury multi-purpose vehicle (MPV). The car, priced around Rs 1.4 crore in India, was recently seen outside his residence.

Khan joins other notable individuals who have recently purchased the V-Class, including cricketer Hardik Pandya and his girlfriend Mahieka Sharma. The vehicle, which began taking bookings in early March, offers features such as seven airbags, child seat hooks, traffic sign assistance, driver attention alert, an electric parking brake with hold function, 360-degree cameras, and an auto-dimming mirror.


This latest acquisition is reported to enhance Khan's car collection, which is estimated to be worth between Rs 30 crore and Rs 50 crore.

All about Mercedes-Benz V-Class
German auto major Mercedes-Benz launched the V-Class in India on March 03, 2026. The price for the V-Class starts at 1.40 Cr. It is available in petrol and diesel powertrains.

The V-Class comes with a 6-seat configuration designed to deliver high levels of comfort, space and privacy. Key highlights include AIRMATIC air suspension tailored for Indian road conditions, ventilated and massage-enabled luxury seats across rows, and an AMG Line exterior. The model debuts a petrol engine option for the first time in India, alongside a diesel variant, both paired with a 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission. The vehicle also packs a range of advanced safety and driver assistance features such as seven airbags, Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC, Active Lane Keeping Assist, Blind Spot Assist and a 360-degree camera system.

Inside, the V-Class focuses heavily on a lounge-like experience, featuring 64-colour ambient lighting, Burmester surround sound system with Dolby Atmos, and multiple comfort programmes. It also becomes the first vehicle in its segment to offer ventilated seats in the third row.

In other news, Shah Rukh Khan is currently filming his upcoming movie 'King,' directed by Siddharth Anand. The film reportedly features Khan as a killer who mentors his daughter, played by Suhana Khan, as she enters the criminal underworld. A planned shoot in Dubai was reportedly canceled due to geopolitical tensions in the Middle East, and a desert scene is now being recreated in a Mumbai studio.

'King' boasts a notable cast, including Abhishek Bachchan as the main antagonist, alongside Jackie Shroff, Jaideep Ahlawat, Rani Mukerji, Deepika Padukone, Saurabh Shukla, Arshad Warsi, Raghav Juyal, Abhay Verma, and Akshaye Oberoi. The film is scheduled for release on December 24, 2026.
