Ahead of the upcoming Raksha Bandhan festival, Pakistani national Seema Haider has sent 'rakhis' to several prominent Indian leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat. Haider, who entered India illegally via Nepal earlier this year, also extended her Raksha Bandhan wishes to Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

Raksha Bandhan, which falls on August 30, is a cherished Indian festival where sisters tie decorative threads known as 'rakhis' around their brothers' wrists, symbolizing their bond and protection.

"I have posted these 'rakhis' in advance so that they reach well in time to my dear brothers, on whose shoulders lie this country's responsibility. I am very happy. Jai Shri Ram. Jai Hind. Hindustan Zindabad," Haider expressed in a video that surfaced on social media on Tuesday.

In another clip, the 30-year-old woman from Sindh province in Pakistan is purportedly seen along with her children, busily packing 'rakhis,' with the melodious tune of "Bhaiya Mere Rakhi Ke Bandhan ko Nibhaana" playing in the background.

Haider had illegally entered India through Nepal with the intention of reuniting with her lover, Sachin Meena, who resides in Greater Noida. Accompanied by her four children, all below the age of 7, she arrived in May and quietly took up residence in a rented accommodation in Rabupura.

Although Haider and Meena, who claim to have initially connected through the online game PUBG in 2019-20, were arrested on July 4 this year, they were granted bail by a local court on July 7.
