March 2025 School Holidays List

Holika Dahan – March 13, 2025 Holika Dahan will be observed on March 13. The festival symbolizes the victory of good over evil and is a common holiday, particularly in northern India.

Holi – March 14, 2025 Holi, the festival of colors, will be celebrated on March 14. It marks the arrival of spring and is widely observed across the country.


Ugadi, Gudi Padwa, and Chaitra Sukhladi – March 30, 2025 Ugadi, Gudi Padwa, and Chaitra Sukhladi, which mark the Hindu New Year, will be celebrated on March 30. These festivals are prominent in Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana.

Eid-ul-Fitr – March 31, 2025 Eid-ul-Fitr, which marks the end of Ramadan, will be celebrated on March 31. It is a gazetted holiday across India, with schools and government offices remaining closed.
