SBI Recruitment 2022: Apply for Specialist Cadre Officers posts; Check all details here

The State Bank of India (SBI) has released the official advertisement for the recruitment of Specialist Cadre Officers posts on regular basis.

Candidates who are interested can apply via official websites--https://bank.sbi/web/careers or https://www.sbi.co.in/web/careers.

The registration process started on August 31 and will end on September 20.


As per the official advertisement, there are a total of 19 open positions including 11 posts for Manager (Data Scientist Specialist), 5 Deputy Manager (Data Scientist Specialist) and 3 System Officer (Specialist in Database Administrator, Application Administrator, System Administrator).

Basic qualification
For Manager: B. Tech or B.E. or M. Tech or M.E. in Computer Science/IT/Data Science/Machine Learning and AI with 60% marks or equivalent grade.

For Deputy Manager: B. Tech or B.E./M. Tech or M.E. in Computer Science/IT/Data Science/Machine Learning and AI with 60% marks or equivalent grade.

System Officer: B. Tech or B.E./M. Tech or M.E. in Computer Science/ IT/ Electronics & Communication Engineering/Machine Learning and AI with 60% marks or equivalent grade.

Post qualification experience
For Manager: Minimum 5 years of overall experience in Data Science or AI ML Model Development.

Deputy Manager: Minimum 3 years of overall experience in Data Science or AI ML Model Development.

System officer:
1) Database Administrator
3 plus years of overall experience in database administration and management.

2) Application Administrator
3 plus years of overall experience in Weblogic application administration and management on Linux.

3) System Administrator
3 plus years of overall experience in system administration and management on Linux/RedHat Core Operating System (Container) /Ansible scripting.

Selection process
The selection will be based on shortlisting and interviews.

• Shortlisting: The shortlisting committee constituted by the Bank will decide the shortlisting parameters and thereafter candidates will be shortlisted for interview.
• Interview: The interview will carry 100 marks. The qualifying marks in the interview will be decided by the Bank.
• Merit list: The merit list for selection will be prepared in descending order on the basis of scores obtained in the interview only.
