SBI Clerk mains exam 2025 details

The SBI Clerk mains exam took place on April 10 and 12, 2025. It followed the prelims exam, which was held on February 22, 27, 28, and March 1, 2025. The prelims result was announced on March 28, 2025. Candidates who passed the prelims were eligible to appear in the mains.

The mains exam had 190 questions worth 200 marks covering General/Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, and Computer Aptitude. The total duration was 2 hours and 40 minutes. There was no sectional cut off; candidates had to meet the overall qualifying marks. Negative marking applied for wrong answers, with a penalty of one-fourth of the marks assigned per question.

SBI Clerk 2025 mains result: Vacancies and salary

SBI will fill 13,735 Junior Associate posts this year. The starting salary for SBI Clerk is reported to be ₹17,900 per month. This includes basic pay along with two advance increments for graduates.
