Addressing the World Economic Forum's annual conference in Davos, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella emphasised the revolutionary potential of artificial intelligence (AI). In a discussion with Klaus Schwab, Founder and Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum (WEF), Nadella mentioned ChatGPT and how it is assisting people in rural India.

ChatGPT is an AI-powered chatbot created by the OpenAI Artificial Intelligence firm. The technology works by learning from massive quantities of data how to respond to any prompt from a user in a human-like manner, presenting information in the same way that a search engine would.

ChatGPT, a cutting-edge chatbot, is attracting the world's attention. In just five days after its recent introduction, the new artificial intelligence site had 1 million users. It's just one of a dozen AI-powered "apps" that are anticipated to change human productivity and the future of work.

During the session, Nadela shared two anecdotes about recent GPT technology use.. The first was about a Silicon Valley experienced coder who increased their productivity by 80% by adopting the methodology to help them produce the code better and faster.

The second case included an Indian farmer who, despite only knowing a local dialect, was able to utilise a GPT interface to access an obscure government programme through the internet.

In the future, Nadela stated that Microsoft aspires to be a leader in quantum computing.
