Sara Ali Khan expresses interest in co-starring with ‘ex-boyfriend’ Kartik Aaryan in Aashiqui 3

Sara Ali Khan, while shooting for Anurag Basu's upcoming film "Metro In Dino," expressed her desire to co-star with Kartik Aaryan in the much-awaited movie "Aashiqui 3". Both actors have previously worked together in "Love Aaj Kal 2", which fueled rumors of their off-screen romance. Although their relationship reportedly ended soon after, Sara has now revealed that she would "love to" be a part of Aashiqui 3 if offered the role.

While the female lead for Aashiqui 3 has not been confirmed yet, sources reported that the filmmakers are in talks with Sara Ali Khan and looking for another female actor for the third lead. Meanwhile, Kartik Aaryan will be working with Anurag Basu for the same project.

In an interview with Connect FM, Sara expressed her interest in the film, stating, "I haven't been offered Aashiqui 3 as yet but I would love to. If I am offered the film, then yes, sure."


The duo sparked rumors of a rekindled romance when they were spotted together in Udaipur, Rajasthan earlier this year. However, Kartik denied the rumors, claiming they were simply at the same place at the same time.

Sara Ali Khan is currently busy with "Metro... In Dino" alongside Aditya Roy Kapur, Anupam Kher, Pankaj Tripathi and Ali Fazal. Sara also has "Ae Watan Mere Watan" in the pipeline.
