Sankashti Chaturthi 2024: Significance
Lambodara Sankashti Chaturthi, also known as Sankashti Chaturthi, falls during the waning phase of the moon in the month of Magha. It is a day dedicated to the worship of Lord Ganesha, and devotees observe a fast and offer prayers with utmost devotion. Seeking the blessings of Lord Ganpati Ji is considered highly auspicious. Lord Ganesha, the son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, holds a significant place among all the gods, and it is customary to seek his blessings before commencing any auspicious activity, be it a puja ritual, marriage, engagement, mundan, or griha pravesh.

Sankashti Chaturthi 2024: Puja Ritual
1. Wake up early in the morning and take a holy bath.
2. Clean the house and the puja room.
3. Place an idol of Lord Ganesha and light a diya in front of it.

4. Decorate the idol with a garland and durva grass.
5. Offer laddos and modaks as sweets.
6. Chant Ganesha Mantras, such as 'Om Gan Ganpataye Namah'.
7. Recite the Sankashti Chaturthi Katha and perform the rituals.
8. Chant the Lord Ganesha Aarti and take a sankalp to observe the fast.
9. Offer prayers to the Lord in the evening as well.
10. After sunset, offer water to Lord Moon and break your fast after offering food to the Lord.
