Actor Nora Fatehi, who was also summoned, could not appear as she is currently abroad and has requested a new hearing date.Earlier, on April 6, individuals associated with the song, including director Kiran Kumar alias Prem, lyricist Raqueeb Alam, and representatives from KVN Production Company, appeared before the commission and submitted their apologies.

The NCW underlined that while artistic freedom remains important, it must be exercised responsibly, especially when content reaches a large audience. The commission reiterated its focus on ensuring dignity and respectful representation of women in media.The song, which had triggered outrage on social media, now appears to have been removed from YouTube, although it had already been widely circulated across platforms.
