One couple's tiff has inadvertently led them to a Subway date, sponsored by the sandwich shop themselves. Last week, a tweet from one half of the couple went viral; in the tweet, a girl talked about how her boyfriend resolved an argument by getting her a Subway sandwich with a note attached.

"A sub for you causes tum hi ho mera SUB kuch,” the apology note read. She shared a picture of the apology note, saying, “My bf and I had a fight so this is what he did.”

Her tweet caught the attention of the sandwich chain, who promised that they would sponsor a date for the couple if the post hit a 1,000 likes.


They kept their word, with the original post racking up over 6,000 likes. The fast food chain shared a picture of the couple on Sunday, enjoying a sandwich and holding hands.

“There you go,” reads the post.
