The issue appears to be a cause of a disruption in Samsung’s Smart Hub servers, which power app connectivity and account services on its TVs.

According to DownDetector, about 78 per cent users faced app-related issues, while 13% are now able to login and 8% are having problem with the website. As per posts from users, the outage started around Thursday evening. Affected users say they are unable to access streaming apps like Netflix, Hulu, and YouTube, with some receiving “Server Certificate Error” messages or being stuck on the Terms of Agreement screen during setup.
Users from US, Europe, Argentina and India reported similar issues. Some attempted factory resets and Wi-Fi reconfigurations, only to find their TVs completely non-functional.
Samsung has not issued an official statement about the outage, neither has it provided an estimated time for resolution. Users attempting to contact customer support have reported long wait times and limited information.
