Samsung launches Galaxy A57, Galaxy A37 5G in India: Check price battery capacity, camera features, availability and more

Samsung has launched two new A-series smartphones in India, the Samsung Galaxy A57 and Samsung Galaxy A37, expanding its mid-range lineup with upgraded features and long-term software support.

The new devices succeed last year’s Samsung Galaxy A56 and Samsung Galaxy A36, which were introduced in March.

Pricing and availability details for both smartphones in India are yet to be announced. In terms of colour options, the Galaxy A57 5G will be available in Awesome Navy, Awesome Icyblue and Awesome Lilac, while the Galaxy A37 5G will come in Awesome Lavender, Awesome Charcoal and Awesome Graygreen.

The Samsung Galaxy A57 is powered by the Exynos 1680 chipset and offers up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage. It runs on One UI 8.5 based on Android 16, with Samsung committing up to six generations of Android OS and One UI upgrades, along with six years of security updates.

The Samsung Galaxy A37 runs on the Exynos 1480 processor and also offers up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage. It operates on One UI 8.5 based on Android 16 and will receive the same six generations of OS and One UI updates, along with six years of security support.

Samsung Galaxy A57 display, battery

The Samsung Galaxy A57 features a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Vision Booster support. It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery and comes with an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.

The Samsung Galaxy A57 comes with a triple rear camera setup, including a 50MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 5MP macro camera. For selfies and video calls, it features a 12MP front camera.
