Samsung Galaxy S27 could get costlier, check latest updates
According to Korean tipster yeux1122, also known as Lanzuk, Samsung could raise the starting price of the Galaxy S27 series in South Korea by between 100,000 won and more than 130,000 won. At the exchange rates cited in the report, that works out to roughly Rs 7,060 to over Rs 9,180.
However, the estimate is specifically for the South Korean market. The eventual pricing of the Galaxy S27 series in India could therefore be different.

Galaxy S27 could get costlier across the lineup
The reported price increase may not be limited to the entry-level configurations. According to the tipster, Samsung could also charge more for models with larger storage capacities. The biggest change could come when customers move between storage tiers. Upgrading from 256GB to 512GB, or from 512GB to 1TB, may cost more than it did on previous Galaxy generations.
The reported increase is linked to higher component costs, particularly for NAND flash storage and newer memory technology.
Rising NAND and RAM prices may drive increase
One of the factors reportedly pushing up the expected Galaxy S27 pricing is the rising cost of NAND flash storage. The tipster also pointed to the newer LPDDR6 RAM standard as another potential contributor.Samsung is not expected to use LPDDR6 across the entire Galaxy S27 range. Based on the current claim, the technology could instead be reserved for higher-end models such as the Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra.
The cost pressure, however, is not believed to be limited to Samsung. The smartphone market is facing a broader supply crunch that has reportedly increased the prices of both NAND storage and RAM components.
As manufacturers deal with those higher input costs, some of the additional expense could be passed on to consumers. The latest Galaxy S27 claim suggests that Samsung may particularly raise prices on configurations that use more storage or higher-end memory.
Galaxy S26 prices had already increased in India
The possibility of another increase comes after Samsung raised the prices of its current Galaxy S26 series in India. The Galaxy S26 was launched at Rs 87,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration. Its price has since increased to Rs 1,02,999, representing a rise of about 17%.
The Galaxy S26 Plus was introduced at Rs 1,19,999 and is now priced at Rs 1,34,999. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S26 Ultra launched at Rs 1,39,999 and currently costs Rs 1,54,999.
With those prices already higher than at launch, a further increase for the Galaxy S27 lineup could push Samsung’s next-generation flagship smartphones into an even higher price bracket.

India pricing remains uncertain
For now, the reported Galaxy S27 price increase remains an unconfirmed leak, and the figures cited apply to South Korea rather than India.Any eventual Indian pricing would depend on Samsung’s international pricing strategy, local costs and taxes, as well as the cost of memory and storage components at the time of launch.
